Quasar, the Lightning Glider, slid down a ray of light he had just thrown from his magic purse. Quasar turned towards the rest of his crew, declaring, “From this moment onwards, we can’t turn back.”

The crew looked back and forth at one another. Delphine, who was half-dolphin, half-man, walked over to Quasar, declaring his support for whatever was next. Delphine held out her fin and shook Quasar’s hand. They both nodded before turning back towards the rest of the crew.

Medusa was standing at the back, never wanting to be seen. She threw her snake hair back and pushed past the remaining crew members, saying, “Medusa is here now, darling, don’t worry.” Medusa was a big get for Quasar. She was the most popular of the group and often left people stunned when they saw her.

There were five remaining. Robin Hood was surprisingly sheepish, standing in silence, staring at the floor, and holding a firm grip on his chin. Mork and Mandy, the two alien twins, were whispering to each other about the decision on their hands. Chunk, a larger man with bright orange hair, then spoke up, “What if we can’t defeat Paulos troops? What if Paulo has hidden the Snickel? What if…”

“There are no certainties, Chunk. All we can do is put our best foot forward and get back this Snickel and save our friends and family in Hooch,” spoke Quasar decisively.

A “cough” from Delphine was heard. “Oh yes, and best fins forward,” rebutted Quasar.

“Okay, let’s do it! What else have we got to lose?” spoke Chunk, referring to the town of Hooch and the people who belong to it.

The twins turned abruptly like soldiers holding hands. “Let’s create some carnage,” shouted Mork while gripping a very large hammer.

“I am going to shove Paulo’s head up his own arse,” delicately said Mandy with a flick of her leg behind her. They then both skipped over to Quasar.

By this point, without much wording, Robin Hood gracefully walked over to join his friends next to Quasar. A slight nod was negotiated between the group.

This left only one. Andronima stood there in a dark robe, his hand reached out, revealing a golden shimmering metal-encased face. “The probability of this working is stacked against us. We have half of their firepower and even less knowledge of the secret systems within Paulos kingdom. Finding the Snickel will be like finding a needle in a haystack,” argued Andronima.

“Agreed, it’s gonna be tough, but we are all that is left to save our beautiful town and loved ones. The army of Hooch are either dead or turned to Paulo’s army. We have one chance at this, and if we lose, then it was only a matter of days before us and Hooch will be dead anyways. I know how I would rather be going out,” said Quasar valiantly.

“The probability of success just increased by two percent. If you keep up those sorts of speeches, we may just win this,” said the robot.

Andronima revealed a cannon from his cloak, shooting two energy pulses into the sky. His other arm began rotating and shifting on all axes. The arm started to develop a round-like saw, which he drove into the stone pillar of the entrance way of Paulos Castle.

The drawbridge was up, which meant they had to find a new way in. Quasar threw down a lighting path for the crew to ride over the purple bubbling moat around the castle. Quasar turned towards the crew and gave one final statement, “Find Paulo, find the Snickel, good luck, and don’t die.”

The crew shot their arms into the air as they gave out a big roar. They jumped onto the lightning path, which sparked and glowed, and headed for the entrance way.
